(CNN) --a small plane crashed and another was apparently able to make an emergency landing Tuesday afternoon after a collision in the air near Newberg, Oregon, authorities said.
The collision occurred at 16: 19, said Sergeant James Rhodes of the Office of Sheriff of Clackamas County.
Preliminary information indicated that you one of the planes had landed safely, spokesman for the Federal Administration of aviation, said Mike Fergus.
Debris was found in the Yamhill County, southwest of Portland, Rhodes told CNN.
Rhodes said he had no information on casualties.
A plane landed in the State Park Champoeg - between Newberg and Wilsonville, according to the CNN Portland KATU branch.
